ist DAS langweilig und uninspiriert.... vielleicht zündet es ja wenigstens live

Coldplay has never feared experimenting (into new territories). This is something to admire. Instead of staying in their comfort zone, they are constantly searching for ways to innovate and sound different. I previously enjoyed Parachutes, Rush of Blood to the Head and Viva La Vida. I am very glad to say that Everyday Life is among my top three now :) It's funny how some people say this album sounds like "typical pop"... I've never heard gospel choirs in "typical pop" songs; the combination of acoustic (WOTW/POTP), choral (BrokEn) and solo piano interpretations (Daddy), mixed with the energetic Arabesque (full of saxophones) makes this album very varied in terms of styles and instrumentation. Therefore, I must only say that you should give it a try because this is not a "typical pop album", like several bad reviews state here. We all have different musical tastes and that's great. However, stating that this music is "typical" or without creativity is too harsh and, in my opinion, not true. You have fast (Arabesque), catchy (Trouble in Town), and quite emotional (Daddy) songs that make this album far from monotonous. Hence, it is a step-up in effort from their previous album if you look at the amount of different instrumentation (plus choir) used, and the amount of songs produced (they could have easily released one CD). Excellent music Coldplay! A great work with honest and meaningful messages :)

Könnte auch besser sein aber mir gefällst ganz gut

Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich mit so einem Album von Coldplay nicht mehr gerechnet hätte. Jeder Song ist anders und experimentierfreudig! Es macht einfach Spaß zuzuhören!

Finde das Album durchaus gelungen, es ist halt mal was ganz anderes als die vorigen Alben (2012 und 2015) Schade das „Flags“ nicht reingenommen wurde!

Side one großartig … Side two gähn … leider zu angepasst…

Coldplay war vor vielen langen Jahren mal sehr gut, heute nur noch Kommerz! Kann man nicht mehr hören, sorry!

One of favorite bands! This album is different and more slow in comparison to others. But it‘s very pleasant and relaxing. These musicians can hardly make a mistake when creating music 🎶 I would buy this album again!
